AI researcher and engineer focused on neural networks, predictive modeling, and the brain

I am a computer scientist with an MSc in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, from TU Delft.

My interests lie at the intersection of AI, neural networks, predictive modeling, and the brain. I am especially interested in questions around intelligence and artificial consciousness, and in how machine learning can be used to model complex biological and cognitive phenomena.

My recent work has focused on multivariate normative modeling with variational autoencoders, including covariate modeling, batch effects, and brain age estimation in neuroimaging settings.
